Install it as a single-sided fireplace for a traditional built-in presentation, or add the compatible See-Through Conversion Kit to create a dramatic fireplace that can be enjoyed from both sides.

A see-through installation is especially striking when incorporated between two outdoor living areas, such as a patio and pool area, or between an outdoor kitchen and lounge.

For that reason, the Kalea Bay's firebox, burner assembly, and control cabinet are constructed using durable 304 stainless steel to help resist corrosion and withstand outdoor environments.

EcoFlow Electronic Ignition

The Kalea Bay features an EcoFlow electronic ignition system designed to provide convenient operation along with important flame-safety functionality.

The system monitors the flame during operation and incorporates safety shutoff and automatic relight functionality if flame loss occurs.

High and low flame settings allow you to adjust the fire presentation to suit the atmosphere of your outdoor space.

LED Lighting Option

Select Kalea Bay configurations are available with full-spectrum LED lighting, adding another layer of visual interest to the fireplace.

The lighting can create a beautiful glow beneath the decorative media and allows the fireplace to remain an architectural feature even when the flame isn't the only focus.

120VAC electrical power is required for LED models.

Natural Gas or Liquid Propane

The Kalea Bay is designed for gas operation and is available for Natural Gas or Liquid Propane, depending on the selected configuration.

Natural Gas models may be converted to Liquid Propane using the appropriate model-specific manufacturer conversion kit.

Always select or convert the fireplace for the fuel source available at the installation location.

Important Installation Information

The Kalea Bay is designed for outdoor use only.

Although the fireplace does not require a chimney or conventional venting system, the enclosure does require proper cross ventilation. The manufacturer requires a minimum of 18 square inches of cross ventilation per side.

Installation and service should be performed by a qualified professional. Always follow the current manufacturer installation manual for framing dimensions, combustible clearances, ventilation, gas-line sizing, electrical requirements, media placement, and applicable local codes.
